Is PRIMER Necessary? And which primer?

Foundation already takes up a hefty load of your budget, it may seem like Primer can be forgone especially for those who wish to spend just 15 minutes doing their makeup but still looking like they tried. HOWEVER, Primer is the very thing that's going to make your expensive foundation actually work! I came across a meme one day which I thought perfectly described the benefits of primer before foundation. 

So basically, Primer provides a smooth base for your foundation to provide coverage, if you don't use primer, the foundation will just pass your pores and just define your pores instead of covering them, it also will make your skin feel super soft! 

WHICH PRIMER DO I USE? 

Ever since I have started using make up I have only used two types of primers, Urban Decay's Spray on primer and Smashbox Photofinish primer. I always recommend to buy the Smashbox one because spray on although saves time it doesn't really do the trick unless you entirely wet your face and wait for it to dry... 

ALSO! The prices differ tremendously and Urban Decay' Spray on was definitely NOT worth it!

HOW TO APPLY Smashbox Photofinish Primer? 

Just use your fingers and spread it around as using a beauty blender may waste the product as blending need not be done so vigorously for primers (it's transparent anyways!)
